Nothing useful from my part  but I remember the Still Being Designed song was also used on another bump, recently I think.
So I noticed that First Friday Funk is listed under Flying Lotus Returns, but do we really know that Flying Lotus Returns exists? As far as I know the only copy in existence is in the hands of [adult swim] :| and it was titled 'Friday Night Funk' at the time.

I feel that this song should be up for Flying Lotus suspicion as well.

I have some information on a post. I was not able to find the exact part, but I definately found the sample. I had to buy the original song to hear it. This is the close ancestor with the sample in it.I really hate having to do this but I think you are mistaken. I bought the original also, at most it's the sample source... if it was deftly modified, but it's not the recording used for the bump

This is for the Bump "Why are you Mean"
This is under the Flying Lotus Suspect List, however, its really by an artist by the name of Easy. The song is called D'ya Dig. The album is Dr. Alex Paterson's Voyage into Paradise.
Hopefully this is the one.

I actually did suspect this one. I was half hoping it might turn up on next week's release Pattern Grid World EP, I just didn't want to start searching for it until I checked. You'd be surprised how much time I can lose searching for music . Its' nothing more than a hunch, though. I just wondered because I recognize the first half without the beats from way back.... It just struck me as something he might do.I feel that this song should be up for Flying Lotus suspicion as well.

This is one I never thought to be Flying Lotus, though thinking about it now it's always a possibility. About the other one (Why Are You Mean), I can hear what may be the bump song sample in the song you posted, but I'm not quite sure the two are connected. It could be a start, though.

Question: I have this track as "Produced by Flying Lotus" http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/2638
Anyone know of an instrumental floating around under Flying Lotus' name?
Okay, just to make things more interesting... and messy :P ... I've found it listed as "Code of Ethnics" which is a perfectly plausible play on words. Can't say which is correct, but it brought up more *ahem* info - including a version used for a Busta Rhymes remix on the Black Fist Promo CD (partial tracklist (http://www.mixesdb.com/db/index.php/2008-00-00_-_Flying_Lotus_-_The_Black_Fist_%28Promo_Mix%29)) that starts between 16 and 17 minutes in... and a blog post (http://www.endclub.com/endblog/music?page=1)stating it was playing on his MySpace page in May of 2008. Also listed as such on this BBC playlist (http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/benjib/20080516.shtml) from May 2008...Question: I have this track as "Produced by Flying Lotus" http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/2638

If I remember correctly, this is it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yv24VoF8PnE. It's definitely not new from 2010 as the video title says, by the way; I heard it last year. The only problem was that I couldn't find a better source. It looks as if the instrumental was never officially released. I'm at once again at a computer with no sound right now, so once I get back to my own computer I'll look more.
Damn, you're good  I couldn't function without speakers.
Thanks for the link & the info

Still nothing really official in terms of a release but something to keep in mind
Yeah, I've been meaning to... still kinda on the fence how to do it. I'm leaning toward listing the artist as Flying Lotus and redirecting everything else to the description area. It's just too messy, and most people seem to be interested in instrumentals. This isn't official either but it's also at SoundCloud for listening (http://soundcloud.com/bluntgutsnation/flying-lotus-code-of-ethnics). [Regarding that site, we're only allowing links to non-downloadable or official accounts.]
Haha thanks. And it's no problem :-D. I do have the Black Fist and I know that part of the mix, it's just frustrating how the track list isn't official. I've also seen the song listed as both Code of Ethics and Code of Ethnics (and even one video that's labeled as just "Ethnics"), so that's also frustrating. I haven't seen that blog or that BBC playlist before though, so that's interesting. If only he would just release the songs he's had on his MySpace in the past. I'll keep an eye out for a more official source, but for now would it be a good idea if we at least put a note in the description?
Yeah that could work. Hey I just saw the description, it looks pretty good actually, it's not too messy.Yeah, I've been meaning to... still kinda on the fence how to do it. Anyone think "What's in Your Frig" should be added: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/2679? It's definitely not one I'm sure about, but it's a possibility.I guess I forgot to address this here  Yes, cuz the timing - Spring 2007 - makes it a good bet.
So are we sure that Hammer-Small Lovechild (http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/2731) is Flying Lotus? It sounds more like Hudson Mohawke (who's also on Warp)...but I've heard everything from his Polyfolk Dance EP and Butter and it's not from there. Not at all, it's in the purely hunches group. I just did a quick run through of all that I have by him, including the albums you mentioned. (I have some non-Warp releases) As a consistent sound I have to agree you have a very good case - definitely worth looking into. Although from what I saw on the quickie look I just did I think we'd have to be looking for something from a sampler or compilation... or one of those dreaded promo-only CDs. I don't know, but I'm beat right now and need sleep  see if my subconscious can help
BTW here's a sample Hudson Mohawke song in case you haven't heard him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8I8_tyOPyf8

Pretty old tracks.
