Old good night bump
« on: January 23, 2010, 04:30:01 AM »

It was B&W and it's very old and I think it was the last bump of the night when it was airing.  I remember it sounded like a music box or something.  When I first heard it I was floored. You know, those bumps you hear and it's just the right time for that sorta sound and it stops you in whatever you're doing. yea

someone has got to remember and be able to help

I've been letting this rattle around my brain... I guess we have to start somewhere, you're sure it wasn't this one?

Unfortunately, that's not it.  The bump had no picture in it. It was just black with some text. I wish I could remember what it said but I'm sure now that this was the last bump of the night. Played at around 5am.  Appreciate the help.

Ooooo.... sounds like mid '03 to early '04.... there was a 'post' bump at the end of the block that listed all the music used - mostly applied to bumps during the Action Block, the Comedy Block was usually library tracks. Anyway, that one is here: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/1360
I don't recall the final bump that preceded that one always being the same.( In fact I know I have one that was silent http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/864 ) but a couple of tracks come to mind.
"The Chasm" (first thing I thought of) and "Pressure" by Algorithm from 'Banana Clip Volume 3'
"Daylight" by Yesterday's New Quintet - we have newer bump with that: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/1818
"I. Dee" by Fat Jon (as Maurice Galactica) from 'Humanoid Erotica'

Outside of that, I'll have to see if I have anything handy from '03 - they're pretty hard to come by  :|

And the Fat Jon:

Sure, last I checked Banana Clip was a tough album to find... and they used a lot of the tracks from it.

Y'know, it came along a little later but there's also "Falling" by Dudley Perkins from 'A Lil' Light, Instrumentals'

thanks guys! it was "I. Dee" by Fat Jon.

I finally found it (I'm taking the credit in my mind). It's been so long. Full song is just as good.
