I need some ears
« on: September 03, 2008, 09:28:13 PM »

I'm just passing on a request from the ASMB, it didn't ring any bells with me  :|

I'm trying to find out if....

a. She's right, and if so how exactly this awesome thing happened.

b. Someone else sampled the same thing.

c. She's just crazy.

The song is called Sour Condiments, and its on the album Broken Cycle by Missin Link. Its up on Missin Link's myspace

It was also on my solo instrumental album a couple years ago, which I handed out to friends who were interning at Nickolodeon and Cartoon Network. That seems like the only feasible way my track would find its way to the air.

The melody samples an old Kay Starr song which isn't super rare, but is probably only available on vinyl.

Any clues?
You caught me at a bad time -

Song's not up on the myspace anymore. I'll check around later to see if there's a download. I'm kinda certain I didn't recognize it when it was there, though.
