So what's new?  Well, pretty much everything except the bumps.  Here's the highlights:

  • A fancy new Flash player (Flowplayer) with high quality MP4 playback.  We will now be offering new bumps in HD!  You can also embed bumps in your site with the new embed codes.  It should also work on smartphones and touch devices now.
  • Vastly improved search feature.  If you can't find it now, it doesn't exist.  Report missing bumps to the forum as usual.
  • A new design that doesn't appear to be made in the late 90s.  It was a great decade, but we have to move on at some point...
  • Much easier bump browsing.  You can now show between 12 and all bumps on a single page! And you no longer have to load a completely new page to browse around.
  • Are you one of those people who want to know when new bumps are added, but don't feel like pulling up the site?  You should check out our RSS feed of new bumps.  We'll also start posting updates to Twitter and our Facebook fan page soon.

I think everything is working, but if you find something broke, please report it to the forums.  Here's to hoping we don't crash and burn while I'm asleep.  Please excuse any unexpected downtime while we settle in.

Enjoy!

By the way, we have a few more things we're planning to do soon, including a bump comment and rating system, and a trimmed down site for mobile browsers.

OMG! Freakin' sweet!
Please:
1) Turn on AutoPlay in Flowplayer
2) Bring back the left column on all pages
Apart from this, !!!AWESOME!!!

UPD: If you're seaching using the up-right search, there will be two "Searches"

Not a catastrophie, but still.

It looks and feels fan-tastic.  Usually with website overhauls I'm a little 'eh' for awhile... but this looks great.

I love the increased viewing options (120, 240, all) -- makes it so much easier when trying to scan for that hard to find bump.  I tried the search out with a few random terms and multiple words, and saw no problems.  Seems a little faster overall too, but maybe that's my imagination.  And I made the faq too, nice

Handsomely done!

Thanks Jeff!  Your input was very influential in many of the new features.

PolarLight, thanks for the suggestions!
1) I am still toying with the idea of turning autoplay on.  There is a bug with turning it on that I would like to fix first.  We'll see...
2) I wanted to leave the left column in, but it just doesn't fit very well on the new bump pages  :|  It's sort of a trade-off for having better quality videos.  If the latest additions and updates were moved to a drop-down menu at the top, would that help?
3) I will clean up the search page soon, thanks!

On the site (not forum), where it says my username at the top right, it allows me to click on it in the space to the left of it. Does that make sense?

That's intentional -- consider it a "feature"  :-P  You don't have to move your mouse all the way over to click on it!

Here's another one. If I play a bump, then full screen it, then rewind it to an earlier point in the bump, the video becomes a lot smaller. I'm not sure if it happens on every video, but it happened on this one: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/3312

I think that one happens with all bumps. The video defaults to the on-page size.

The music description of this bump extends out of the boundaries on Opera and Chrome. Fine on Firefox though. Didn't bother checking IE.

I think that's just the Five Alarm description, which bleeds out on FF for me.

And Killer Tracks (a bit)

De Wolfe too

It's all from Firefox, Chrome.
IE is better (EM and KT looks good, but De Wolfe still bleeds out).

*whoops*  :-D I just realized that I have the browser zoomed in and that's why the others weren't bleeding out for me  The others aren't as bad due to inserted breaks rather than functional wrapping.
