@LucastheLunatic: What can I say, man? I'm starting to sound like a broken tape recorder. You're practically, single-handedly, keeping this thread alive. I hope you keep it up because I always enjoy your bumps.

@KoichiSteals: I'd like to mimic mongo's statements and welcome you to the forum. Your bumps are fire! Please continue to share more with us.

@mongo: I'm always grateful to see your responses on this thread. I know we create these bumps for nostalgia's sake, but seeing your input is quite nostalgic as well.

I apologize for not coming around more. I've been dealing with some personal issues which have severely limited my free time. With that said, however, I'm always in high spirits when I get to make the bumps I love, so to commemorate last night's Bleach premiere, as well as Blue Exorcist's Kyoto Saga, I created a schedule bump. I also created a Featured Music bump since I haven't done one in 3 years. I hope you guys enjoy the vibes of that one. As always all feedback is welcome. And I'll do my best to uphold my duty to this forum, and the bumps we all like to create:

EDIT: FOUND IT. Thank you bumpworthy for being here. This post was part of a wider effort to just try a little harder than I ever have. The song is Double Crucifixion by Algorithm. My problem was misremembering that it was used for an Inuyasha bump when (at least in the archive) it was used for several different bumps but not Inuyasha. Anyway, I feel like a million bucks.

I've been lurking bumpworthy for over a decade hoping to find it but never have.

Around 2005.

I'm 98% sure it was an opening titles replacement bump for Inuyasha.

edit: card visual was slowly moving cut-out silhouette of Inuyasha, and the only text on screen was "INUYASHA"

The song is the real mystery - it was a sort of down tempo/triphop version of DJ Shadow's Organ Donor but a totally different version with an orchestral string section. I know Organ Donor sampled Giorgio Moroder's "Tears" but I've done countless searches to find this version over the decades to work backwards from but no luck.


This would be life-changing for me to find.
