now what?
thanks guys :)
is there any way to get this shiz on tv? cuz we would totally make more
hey everyone!!
i just started doing bumps..
so go easy on me!!
:D
i think it's too late at night for my brain to work but what's S&P?
Since we're sharing... I finally made my first bump. GandT had an art contest for the Swimmerhood and my "art" project kinda evolved into this:Hahahahaha about time you joined us!! That's awesome! It looks just like a real bump!
http://www.youtube.com/v/o4M6kNpCMpI&hl=en
have you seen the latest aquateen season?? i mean i freakin love it but damn, shake has been mutilating kittens within the first minute lately. In the last one he just flat out shot himself in the face with a shotgun. bloodiest most ridiculous season ever, love it...but if there are S&P people, they must be either writing that show or feeling a bit oblivious lately.S&P don't object *that* much to violence, especially since Aqua Teen is, although very gory, pretty cartoony in that department. What S&P mostly worry about are language (remember the big deal that happened when the first Paranoia Agent episodes said "shit" two or three times?) and sex. Even realistic violence they could get away with to some degree.
I like!!! A lot!!! Awesome beat! :-othank you sir!!
Some really awesome stuff, dude!!! 'Absolutely Nothing' reminded me a lot of some bumps like 'So Close to Over', and the beats are really awesome. I'd really like to know if you release an album or something.
fellas? o_O
c'mon, fellas!
That'd be great. I think the reason they don't do it is because of copyrights, since they can't assure that we hold copyright over the images/music we use in them, and they'd have to track us down and make us sign release forms to forfeit compensation and stuff. Red tape, basically .

That gives me an idea. I'm willing to bet that even my sucky state has some cool areas to check out. All I need now is a good quality yet cheap camera.

Problem with that isn't the pictures, but the music. Even if you took the pictures yourself and made the music yourself they still need something official to go by.
i did not mean to pressed post 2 times sorry i didn't notice till now thanks for telling me :)Actually, that was a second thread that you started that I merged with this one. It looks like mongo just had to do the same. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but I'm already a little tweaked by your attempted spamming of the ASMB. :| There's no need for it, seriously.
Would it still count if we use our own music?
And here is my second bump., this was really fun!! Really liked it a lot, too!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1U06YSnzcQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1U06YSnzcQ)
Bunch more. You got some really great stuff!! Really liked your bumps, especially Bright Time, Last in Line and Out For the Night. Kudos!
The song sounds like the One (Remix) by Immortal Technique. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcxGXANR8tI)The sample is from an old 70's song - "Whenever I call You "Friend""
(http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/numymufn/Smileys/ohgeez-1.gif) Dude, that sounds like something I would do :lol:Is there no music on the Cold bump? I can't hear anything. :\
Wow, never mind. Accidentally muted my speakers haha.
omg, that's awesome, dude :-D
my fake viewer card http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjjrJlygsXk
Nice pic! :-D
Whoa hadn't seen you made it, that's awesome! Has that ExtremeMusic kinda vibe, really cool!
'nother bump of mine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_7zL2Si3lc)
 , me neither! :-) And thanks for the kind words :DD'nother bump of mine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_7zL2Si3lc)
, never thought that song would work so well on a bump! Nice job!
Ryan D. did you make that music?
You are both gracious and modest :) I wonder, do you even have a dark side?Ryan D. did you make that music?
Kind of. :-) I did have help from two great arrangers/producers and eighteen wonderful jazz musicians in the studio. They're the ones who should get the credit for the instrumental part of the projects/albums. Plus, I didn't write these songs. They're new/original arrangements of Adult Standards.
That picture looks like Beakman's World.I've never seen that... but if it's the BBC low budget cardboard-and-xmas-lights sets look, yeah :-D a Qwiki look up found this tidbit about the green doctor's mum:

In the Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode Girl in Gold Boots, the agent from the Institute of Mad Scientists said Pearl Forrester was "not fit for a spot on Beakman's World."
Hah! Lovin'm  but this one really tickled my funny bone :-D

Hey guys, I made this thing called a "Bump", which are those things that [adult swim] plays before and after commercial breaks.
Anyway, here's my collection so far
These are really cool, Bearzilla! Do you have any download links for them? At least the turntable one :-D Great job! Here's an MP3 for the turntable one, also used in the creepy "We'd like To See You Try" bump. :P
Thank you, but I meant the bump itself. Sorry, we can't share mp3s here so I'll have to axe that link. More info here (http://www.bumpworthy.com/forum/index.php?topic=888.0).Oh, the video. Should be pretty easy, just gotta look around for the file.
Liked those alot [silversobe]! Yours too BeatsByD!
I made two over my break:

Hope you enjoy them!
That one is incredibad... but I made it, as with all of them, with a combination of Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects. I used After Effects mostly for the shake and I THINK the zoom effects. Premiere I did the preliminary effects of scrolling and zooming in, and Photoshop was the picture and text.
Thank you very much, Numy and Dont Haunt Me. I'll take it further and merge all text into a single post.
Anyone else, if you want to post multiple bumps, put them all in a single post. That way the boards don't get cluttered.
Dude, that is freakin awesome!!! :-o I absolutely loved it, would be great to download it :-D Mind officially blown, great job!
By the way, merged the other post here.
Indeed, dude! Loved it, great visuals and the beat goes along perfectly. Must've taken a while!
Man, you do some really cool stuff :-D Thank you very much for sharing, great one! Thanks alot man! This seems to be the most relevant place to post them :D
Diggin' it! :-D Looks a lot like the original one :-D The files themselves are a bit stingy though, in an alternate player they work fine but in WMP they tend to behave a bit weird (one shows up pretty blurry, the other one as audio and a black screen). How are you making them?
Man, you've got some really awesome stuff! I loved the pics, they're quite great. The music fits in really well, too! I'd love to see more. I would recommend having a small [as] tag on the picture-only bumps (if you look closely, AS always sticks a small tag in every picture bump, like an owl or the crest or something :-P bit of an easter egg) although it's not particularly necessary, just for the sake of it having that [as] essence bit . I wouldn't mind 1080p, but these look great, so it's up to you really. I'd recommend something like uploading the 720ps apart and the 1080ps in a pack? Anyway, whatever you choose, I hope to see more :-D.

Thanks. I'm really proud of AS and You Bike Ride, Dusty Piano, and of course Whitney Houston Crack Quote--the funny drugs quote combined with the suburban image was just adult swim-esque. I'll take your advice because I do have photoshop, but just have no idea on how to use it effectively. I don't know where I can get the owl crest. If anything I'll settle for [as]. Again, thanks for the feedback. I'll post some more either later tonight or tomorrow.
EDIT: Okay yeah you have Photoshop. I'll send you the PSD later if you want it.
I was never able to find the actual crest myself, I ended up using a symbol from the website. Like Laughingboy, if you want it let me know and I'll look for it :-D It's the one I used here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFoSPnZyub4).
MY NEW KOTH ALAMO BEER BUMP.. if anyones interested..

Thanks a ton, Jeff! Means a lot to hear that :-D Have you thought about making user bumps? I think you could pull off some really rad stuff!
And NYSXxNemesis, I'm getting "video removed by user" :-(
It has been so long since I have been on here. I made two Bleach related Bumps last year for the Bleach Christmas Eve Marathon they had after noticing there were no bumps for it during the breaks. So here are the two I made. Nothing special about them, was kinda sad they didn't do any bumps for that marathon.

Yeah.. here is the example I gave on the other page.MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH! Using Fonts.com's font finder thingy. I think I might of found the fond I was looking for all along.. Using different factors like the #4 and the : sign. I came to find out that it's the font "MittelSchrift"! Could I also have a second opinion just to be sure? Thanks again. :D
The 4 should be a definite giveaway when looking for the font.

New user created bumper I created with the text that I found.
Also, the underside of the plane has the old AS emblem.
Man, I dig those!! That end card has to be the toughest part of it all, but it turned out quite nice. Great job!
Man, we're definitely fans of the same kind of bumps :-D Love it, I dig your stuff a lot! I gotta get on my bump making game, it's been a while :-P
Man, we're definitely fans of the same kind of bumps :-D
You should. Stop being lazy, :). I owe my upstart to you and this site.
Some very nice work, link. I particularly liked I and You and Dear God. Nice choices of images and tracks on them all, though.
As for feedback--purely just considerations for you of course--you may well have intended this, but the text is quite small, making it hard to make out in a few of the bumps. Many forum-goers here also encourage capping at 15-second bumps, to match the classic AS style.
Very nice though, all in all. I enjoyed looking at them.
New bumper I made :-D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCbh6aGWILE&feature=youtu.be
Made the photo myself. Also, I started making the photo at 5:46 PM (EST) and finished/rendered the video at 7:14 PM (EST).. I then uploaded it to Youtube approx. 5 mins. and posted it here.
EDIT: Happy almost 500 posts on this topic!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Edit 2: Numy.. why is the video on my signature cut to 15 seconds? The original video was 30 seconds or so. Wtheck?

Quite nice restoration job, Athias! I enjoy doing that myself, although it's pretty hard to get a hand on higher quality stuff. The color work on the Faye one was very good, and you did a great job with the font as well! Man, even though I own the series on DVD, Cowboy Bebop is one of those instances where I'm pretty sure I'll just bite the bullet and get the Blus. It's just so damn great :-P Speaking of great, was that one of the greatest [as] April Fools gags or what? I loved it, the bumps were absolutely hilarious, and I'm a big Perfect Hair Forever fan, so to me it was perfect :-P.
Y'know, it's pretty funny; I have around here some cropped-to-widescreen versions of those bumps (and the Stoner Series ones), and I had thought about replacing them, but decided not to because of the authenticity factor as well.
macpod, that's really incredible. That's real... right? I'm so used to seeing the [AS] logo added in CGI that it didn't dawn on me until the second or third viewing that that's all real water (right...?). Incredible creation if that's something you made. I'd have to imagine you could market it... though, making an [AS] bump out of it is an undoubtedly noble use as well.
Athias and macpod--couple of the best posts on this thread in awhile.
Thanks Athias for the pseudo-request. You made the promo look fantastic. I think I could just leave that on loop on my computer while I walk away.
I assume that you used After Effects?
I always appreciate your offerings, Athias. Been a few weeks since my last breeze-by, so just getting to your last few. You don't need me to tell you, but you've got a real talent for it. Loved all the GITS, especially, that's another personal favorite. I had three wishes, I'd give serious thought to making one of them be for a third season of GITS:SAC.
I'll be looking forward to hearing more about your secret project. It seems like this is a labor of love for you, and it shows.
Just watched it a few times in a row. Slow, rising applause from me.
Everything fit together seamlessly and your additions fit the theme nicely. Along with a handful of bumps from that era, the JBV music videos are more or less AS canon to me. I really like what you did with the video, and thanks for sharing.
I was considering holding off on replying for a bit to give someone else a chance, so it's not just a you-and-me conversation, Athias, but I have to say I really like the typewriter bump. It's one of those things where I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's one of my favorites I've seen you do. Maybe the blurriness, because I'm so fond of the old tilt-shift bumps, I don't know, but I like it.
I googled the latitude and longitude of the satellite imagery, and found... a book on thermal imaging of New York/New Jersey(?) What am I missing?
hello world, this is my first time on bumpworthy and honestly i really like it. Sorry for being a newb im still grasping all the information.
8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
I really enjoyed the tilt-shift cars bump, I am a sucker for the tilt-shifting. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you do with Advanced Robotics--I went back and re-watched your take on Broken Promise, really great stuff.
You should know by now I'm a huge fan of your work. If I may offer a point of critique, I thought the removal of the scan lines and hardening of the text in the Evangelion bump caused it to lose a little of my nostalgia for watching [AS] on the ol' cathode ray tube tv. If you were, in fact, looking to modernize the look of the bump then disregard that, because quality-wise it does look great.
Thanks as always for sharing.
LegoKirby12-
Really nice. First one is my favorite, but I really like them all, music matched the images nicely.
starscreamlive-
I missed your post before, but I like yours as well. Took a glance at some of the rest of your channel too. If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion, which you may take or leave as you please, cutting them down to the traditional 10-15 second length in my opinion would enhance that bump feel. Kudos indeed though, nice images.
You put the same URL for Action Bump #1 and #4.
Those look really good.
I always wanted to remaster the old ASA 2002 bumps, but I never got around to it.
I'm not sure why you noted the song and artist as n/a. The song is "Hammer" by Pelican City.
Toonami used it a lot for DBZ bumps and intros.
Actually, you motivated me to finally get those bumps labeled on here. :-P
Not sure how many people come through the thread regularly, but in sincerity, I do and really enjoy every time I open it up and see remasters or new creations. It's more than you think. Since this thread was started, it's been read 480,082 times.
Making my normal pass through the thread. Busy indeed Athias, and likely unbeknownst, you're slowly making your way through my favorite all-time bumps (http://www.bumpworthy.com/forum/index.php/topic,921.msg6034.html#msg6034).

Thank you! But, maybe if I show these bumps to [as] stream's Development Meeting on Thursdays (8PM EST/5PM PST), maybe Walt and Cam will see about adding them for future bump usage to the bump division from Atlanta. (I'm also going for a career in animation, as well)

Thanks for this. Gonna watch all of them. Two questions:
To remaster, you used the higher-res wallpaper versions of the bumps right? Just wondering about the process again.
With White Barnish, has anyone with good detective skills ever figured out the location of the image (if even possible)? I know its of course in Terre Haute, Indiana.
It's been a while since I made a couple of bumps for a long time.

Nice.
I meant to upload this bump last Sunday, but somehow forgot. Here it is:
Owl Warehouse (1080p] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T4Mz3WYyAY)
This second bump arose because not only did I love the image, which I found very reminiscent of the old adult swim bumps, but I also found the perfect song to accompany it:
Featured Music 11 (Highway Overpass) [1080p] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Liry6l78vaw)
You should learn how to edit in the logo and what video editor to use.
Do you use Premiere Pro for this?
No idea if I’m doing this right but here’s the one I made, a friend told me I should post it here and I figured it’s worth a shot.I don't think you're doing it right.

@LK: Great job on those bumps! This bump is FIRE. I expect you to make more old-school bumps in the future.
I'm here dropping off a bump I made several years ago, back when I was trying to figure out masks. I came across it recently and decided to touch it up a bit, and finally upload it:
ACTN Ghost in the Shell Intro 2 (Re-Imagined) [1080p] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuGCoPL5LWI)
All feedback is welcomed.
@LK Gaming:It looks like you put in a lot of effort into making these. Good job.
Thanks. Great set of bumps by the way. I'm here once again to drop off some late night Sunday bumps:
Featured Music 13 (Riverside Drive) [1080p] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlCwFIwggJ4)
Junction (1080p) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGF6lEC-ed0)
@LK Gaming: Great job as always with the bumps.Amazing work! Also, here are 2 new bumps I made:

I'm stopping by to drop off my first "4K" bump. You guys know how it is: one day, you're just browsing the net, looking for stuff you shouldn't, and WHAM!--inspirations hits. This is probably one of the most fun bumps on which I've worked. As always, all feedback is welcomed:
AS_and_You (Industrial Building) [4K] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHBugEPrL4E)
To commemorate Toonami's Black Friday schedule, I decided I'd create a schedule bump marking the event:
Tonight Schedule - Abandoned Lot [4K]_v2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knthShvyY9o). All feedback is welcomed.
P.S. Happy belated Thanksgiving, and nice set of bumps by the way, LK.

@LK Gaming: Great job as always, LK. I particularly liked the one with the pigeons. You are hands down the best I've seen thus far at making these modern bumps.
With that said, I hope you all aren't tired of some classics. Well... some what classic. These set of bumps, I used video instead of still images. I chose these videos because I thought they still captured the aesthetic of the schedule bumps. With that in mind, I made four bumps: Two Saturday Night Schedule bumps, One Sunday Night Schedule Bump, and One Tonight Schedule bump:
Saturday Schedule (Dinghy) [4K]_v2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb81g-EpiSY)
Saturday Schedule (Lake View) [4k]_v2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqpJu2wijHQ)
Sunday Schedule (Overpass) [4K]_v2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbFzakxecSQ)
Tonight Schedule (Sunbathed Mountains) [4K] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zla7K0GIUGc)
The font for the Tonight Schedule bump was a bitch to find. But it was worth it after seeing the end result. Furthermore, since it was (still is) Toonami's 25th Anniversary, I thought I'd do something I haven't done in a while, and that's create a Toonami bump. This one uses clips from the Neon Genesis Evangelion blu-ray, which I would later upscale to 4K using an AI Enhancer.
