So I am working on a Google Doc about the history of the sunday night picture bumps on [Adult Swim] and I need to fill in the blanks here's what I got so far.
September 2nd 2001: Adult Swim Launches with the old folks in the pool bumps and the ALL KIDS OUT FOR ADULT SWIM tagline
May 2004: The Sunday Night Picture bumps debut during the last hour Adult swim is your friend Sign off is used
July 3rd 2004 Saturday Action block bumps are updated to the [Tokyo] bumps
January 8th 2005: the Saturday Action Block is rebranded to ACTN
May 28th 2005: the second batch of ACTN bumps debut the [Tokyo] bumps decline in use
October 2005: Gametap promos are briefly used taking up the third bump
March 28th 2008: THE DAWN IS YOUR EMENY debuts alongside the 5am bumps
July 2006: the tilt shift bumps debut on saturday nights
March 2007: Ads for Super Deluxe debut during commercial breaks replacing the 2nd bump
Late 2007: the Gametap bumps return
June 9th 2007: This is the last time the [Tokyo] Bracket bumps are used
July 16th 2006: ACTN Tilt Shift bumps debut the may 2005 ACTN bumps are regulated to weekdays
March 2008: the second batch of Picture bumps debut as all anime is removed not apart of the 5:00 am weeknight block Baggage room and Swimbound debut alongside some July 2006 Tilt shift
May 2008: the ACTN Tilt shift bumps are retired replaced by the cutout bumps
November 2008: The weekday bumps "invade" the saturday night block
January 1st 2009: King of the Hill debuts with the "brought to you by . . ." Bumps
January 2009: the gametap and Super Deluxe bumps are retired
January 31st 2010: All picture bumps are replaced by the still image bumps dawn is your emeny is retired
