Does anyone happen to know the original image source for this bump? (http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/1808)
Did Adult Swim create it on their own, or did they borrow from an existing image?
If it's the latter, is it copyrighted or in the public domain?
You know, I've always had the weird feeling that I've seen that as an image somewhere else. I thought it was an official wallpaper, but that wasn't it, so my best guess would be a licensed image. I might be wrong, though; just trying to help. I'm interested in knowing that info myself.
If you can get the image by itself, you can run it through http://www.tineye.com and see if it comes up.
Edit: I did it, and here are the results: http://www.tineye.com/search/9c17d763cdda166d9ef1f5a496dc88966f0fc7b0/
THAT is one handy tool :-o Thanks for bringing that to my attention! :-D
I decided to check out GRIN from that list and I also found this pic right off the bat

Judging by the file name and the incorrect date I saw at the first site returned (there's no way this was from the '70's !!! ) this is the source and I'll bet there are a few more to be found.

RE: the OP, I noticed the monitors in the bump version have been altered from the original. Just looks like B&W text but I wonder what it says :?
In the 'oh crap' department :-P I already scrolled through all the pics and forgot about this bump: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/968 - I'll have to search again later. 1-5 done, Still need 6 & 7 *argh*... this one too http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/1925 done
In the "wtf?" department, wtf? http://grin.hq.nasa.gov/ABSTRACTS/GPN-2004-00017.html  I never knew that!
oh , yeah, I actually ran across a couple of images that I don't think we have posted but they sure jarred my memory... I'll have to post those a little later as well in case anyone else remembers them or knows where we put them
This one I remember the image plain as day... the rest is a little fuzzy. I think it was seasonal, short term. I wanna say it was labeled "Santa's Workshop" or something... could just as easily been for Labor Day :P http://grin.hq.nasa.gov/ABSTRACTS/GPN-2000-000364.html
These I'm less sure of:

I found a bump with a small piece of this one in it, but the whole image also looked familiar

These are kind of generic - might be something similar
