Does anyone happen to have the TV ratings (TV-PG-L/TV-14-V) of old [as] shows? Particularly Yu Yu Hakusho, s-CRY-ed, Wolf's Rain, Witch Hunter Robin, Blue Gender, Trigun, Kikaider, Mission Hill, The Oblongs, Reign the Conqueror, Case Closed, Super Milk Chan, and Pilot Candidate? Any of the ratings for those shows would be of help. You don't need the whole series, just any episodes you may have.

Somehow, I thought each episode could be rated differently. But I think I have at least one episode of most of those shows. Not sure how quickly I can find them, though. I'm pretty certain I have no trace of Pilot Candidate, I've admitted before I was not an instant Action fan. Also, for the same reason, I don't personally recall YYH being on AS. I think I may have some beginning clips of it from Kenshin over-run tapings which would be enough to get the rating but it would be from either the Toonami or SVES programming blocks, not AS.

Yes, I am aware it is a rather odd request, however I have most of the other [as] shows except for the ones I've mentioned. Yu Yu Hakusho first aired on [as] in 2002-2003, then was moved to Toonami. I know on Toonami it was TV-Y7-FV. Anyhow, if you could find any ratings for the shows, I would like to know what episode it was as well, if you know that. I was just trying to date some Witch Hunter Robin that I just transferred to DVD, eps 17-24, and I realized I was going to have to burn a whole disc for the last two episodes. I started wondering what else was on that tape and would I want to mix it up with WHR... I was afraid to hope... knowing full well how close I was... but I discovered that I have the moustache episode from April Fools 2004 :-D I had dared to hope the whole night might be on there, but it's the first trace I've been able to find of it so I'll take it.

Thanks for the help. Although I am pretty sure that those last two ratings for YYH were actually a mistake as it was a marathon that night, so they put Cowboy Bebop's and Gundam 0083's ratings for that night, however I don't know if they actually rated those last two episodes.
I'll check August 3rd's airing of YYH #21 and December 28th's airing of YYH #20 when I get back in, but you may be correct. I didn't think of the marathon effecting the ratings that way.

Just checked the two other dates and only episode 21 is different. It is TV-PG-LV according to the August 3, 2002 airing. December 28th's airing of episode 20 ("Seven Ways to Die") was still rated TV-14.

Yeah, I had started watching [as] in 2004 (my first show was The Venture Bros. on August 28) and the first thing I noticed was the different ratings. Ever since then I have been wondering what the ratings are for shows, as well as enjoying the shows for what they were, and the packaging they were in.
As for Lupin, the ratings didn't always make sense, but they are much better than the nonsense nowadays where they just slap a TV-14-DLSV and call it a day:

As for how I find info, well from way back when I would record down the ratings from the schedule. However, my computer crashed earlier this year, and I didn't back up the files, so I lost a lot of info I had gotten from 2005 onward. Luckily there were other people that recorded this info down, so I retrieved most info back. I got Lupin ratings from a user on ASMB.
Man, that must've sucked a ton to lose all that! I'll see if I can find anything else, although I sadly don't have any recordings of the original anime shows (heck, I have that Mission Hill copy because a friend copied it to me when I found out the music on the DVD was changed to stock music). Outlaw Star and Tenchi Muyo were both TV-Y7-FV because they were just glorified Toonami reruns with slight alterations. I am not sure if Trigun episode 4 was consistently TV-14 or TV-14-LV because one person I know has an airing of that episode that was just plain TV-14. As for Kikaider, there were also the 4 OVA episodes that [as] aired to which the ratings of those are currently unknown.
As for s-CRY-ed, my favorites were the Super Pinch episode, the Mad Sprict one, and anything with Straight Cougar. Though the one with Biff was hilarious.
Hmm, I'd err on the TV-14 then, at least it's a more solid hint. Sucks this kinda stuff is hard to find :|. I hope someone can help. Didn't know [as] aired the 4 OVAs after the main series, that's quite rad! [as] has been mostly quite good to us anime fans :-D, and now with Toonami it's even better!

I can double check the ratings listed here for Kikaider, s-CRY-ed, and Trigun as well as fill in any blanks (as best I can). I know I have all of Trigun and s-CRY-ed from their initial runs (or second runs as is the case for one or two Trigun episodes) on Adult Swim. Not sure I have all of Kikaider but I have a majority. It's just a matter of pulling the tapes out and fast-forwarding to find the episodes. :-P

Dude, that's awesome!! Huge thanks, I gotta add these last new tables to the main post. Regarding Baby Blues, I checked them against my recordings (why did that series never get a DVD release? :-( ) and they're all good ole plain TV-PG. :-D I may have the Venture one, but I'm not sure, I'll have to check if one of the old hodgepodge DVDs my buddy gave me has it.
Thanks, I wasn't sure because some of the language usually would warrant TV-PG-L. But, Toonzone was actually correct this time. If you need any more anime ratings I've got 'em.

Okay, so I went and made a list of all the shows I am missing.
- Space Ghost (really hard finding some of the older episodes)
- Harvey Birdman (had them all at one point, but not anymore)
- The PJs (Doubt anyone has this)
- God, the Devil, and Bob (Also doubt anyone has this)
- Robot Chicken seasons 1-2 Premiere/early airings of both
- Futurama (Missing eps)
- Voltron (missing eps)
- Frisky Dingo

I probably don't have much Space Ghost, I know I have that marathon in Feb 2004 of episodes they said would never be on DVD. I'm not really sure about Harvey Birdman... probably not the original airings but I have to believe I have reruns somewhere
Most of that other stuff I probably do have, it's just a matter of pinning down when they aired exactly. I have some old 'paper' schedules in my photobucket (http://s47.photobucket.com/user/numymufn/library/Bump%20This%20Too/as%20misc/Schedules) that may help. I do have Voltron, that started in Nov. 2006... and Robot Chicken, as long as it was premiering on Sundays in 2005 I should have that too.
The remaining ones should be no problem, well, except for that 'time to do it' thing :P
Oh yeah! And I am also missing the British shows. Anyhow, thanks a million!
