Title: Techno-sounding bump
Post by: 61woods on October 14, 2009, 11:22:07 PM
This is from 2006.  It is a black-and-white Futurama bump that was a white silhouette of Bender (I believe at the bottom right corner of the screen).  The beat goes:  duum..duum....da, daaa, duum..duum.....da, daaa.

Yes, exactly like that card.

Only the Viewer Cards were done black on white like that. They stopped making those before 2004 ended, in the fall I think.

There was a limited amount of publicly available tracks used at the time: http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/666

I am positive that a white-silhouetted Bender was in this particular bump.

I know this might sound silly, but if you have any way of recording audio I think it'd be a lot more useful. You could upload the clip to a site like ZShare.net where we could stream it and have a clearer idea. Just a thought .

P.S. We're not American Idol or anything here, as long as it's recognizable it works  :-D.

Are you also positive it was 2006? Frankly that year is a lot easier to search than 2004 but like I said that particular format ended by 2005. That's not to say there haven't been ANY silhouettes at all just not in that format and not nearly as many. Like these:

http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/247
http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/1283
http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/479
Again, these would only run for a week - most likely never to be seen again. I need some detail I can search for  :|

...and what mongo said, if you have it by all means let us hear it  I've used my phone or PDA voice recorders for this sort of thing, it's good enough

Could someone please list all of the Futurama bumps with Bender in them?  Maybe then, I will be able to find this particular bump.

Nope, none of those bumps are the one in question.  Are there any bumps available with a white silhouette of Bender?  I remember last seeing this bump right before Futurama left Adult Swim in late 2007.

Does it have a Bender one with a techno-sounding beat?

Nope. No techno at all. Closest thing to techno is this, and it's a Fry bump http://www.bumpworthy.com/bumps/671

Well I'm glad you found it, anyhow

Anyone else feel like there's an airhorn bump with that track?  :|
