I've been very busy this past summer.
Anyway, it's been tough for me to get back to bump making, mainly because of all of the work I've been involved in around and outside the home. My computer is having "space" issues, and until I can find more HD space, I have to keep burning all of the crap I have onto CD, which takes up most of my time. Plus, I've had one side-project after another, from level making, to movie making, to review making, [I'm writing one to a game called "Gurumin" right now.] to auditions...making. I just lately tried out for an orchestra in Maryland, and I have just recently gotten a reply that I am accepted into the American Youth Philharmonic. I don't mean to brag, it's a lot of work for me to feel all egotistic about this.
I play the Oboe, Btw.
However, at the end of the day, I still haven't forgotten about the forum and my Bump making. I love making bumps, and I love the feedback, both good and bad. [Check out Bump 13 for more info!] and with over 100 views into the channel in just 2 months of its creation, [Which ain't bad considering the videos are just 10 second long pictures to music.] and with over 1,600 views on just the videos alone, it'd be a waste to just quit now, right?
So you have all seen Bump 16, and 17-19 are almost complete, which leaves me with 10 more bumps to make [I try to make 14 bumps per project..."season?"] and my request to all of you is...
...What do you want to see on a bump? What song would you like to hear? requests is basically what I'm asking for. I have some pictures set up, but if you have something you want to hear, and have the song/know where to find the song, then make a request in this topic, I'll be sure to make it if I can find the song. It's easier to put picture to music than music to picture, if you know what I'm getting at.
Also, do you have some photoshop prowess, but don't have the movie making programs, or knowledge to make the bump complete? Send me your pictures if you have a good one! It's sometimes better for me to see someone else's work for a change than just my own. In fact, some of the bumps that were in the 1-15 [14 if you don't count #3. I don't.] were from a friend of mine, and we collaborated the bump. Your SN will be posted on the YouTube site in the Bump that you helped create, so don't worry about me taking your creativity for granted. I just thought it would be cool to see if we can make bump making a collaborative effort between some [adult swim] fans.

I've been thinking about downloadable content for Bumpworthy. I have decided that I'm going to do them in packs of 14, like the first 14 [15] bumps, and exclusively for Bumpworthy Forums, add in an extra or two. Like, add in a fan-made commercial, or something to that extent, I haven't quite figured it out yet.

LOL Laughingboy made some mistakes.
Check out the new Pic. I made a mistake in the implementation of the AS logo (I Improved it as well.) It was covering the slightest bit of wire that made it so that it didn't fit in well into the picture. Also, after checking with my friend, I went with the easy and simple approach of just soft lighting the text.

3 Projects are due within this week, and I have to make sure I'm done with at least 2 before I move on to other things.
But with one assignment after another, it hasn't been easy.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I have somehow managed to get my act together for the most part and have gotten most of my stuff done. ("stuff" for lack of a better term.) College is just around the corner for me and I have to make sure I am in top playing condition...However if I don't get the applications in, it's not going to make a hell of a difference, right? So this weekend I have been working my ass off trying to get at least my top three applications in. I also have one essay to write...luckily it's such a short essay to write...Can you relate the preparation of a musical piece to the 5 stages of death? I'm about to...
...That's not the essay subject... but it's what I'm going to write... :P

Unless these three conditions have been fulfilled.
1.) The entire bump has been made. I don't want people posting their own bumps before I'm able to realease mine, because it distracts from my own creativity. What I mean is, I have something in mind for all of these bumps, and if someone releases a bump using my picture before I get a chance to, then when I release my version of the bump, people will talk more about your bump than mine, whether it's better or worse. This is the part that pisses me off the most, and if I ever see it again, I WILL refrain from posting the pictures here. I only do this so that you guys can see how things are coming along, not so that you can take them and use them for your own bumps and release them before I ever have a chance to release them in the way that I INTENDED THEM to be.
2.) I am credited for the picture. Yep, not a hard one, but please try not to use aliases such as "A friend over at Bumpworthy" because no one is going to know who the hell you are talking about. I would appreciate it if you used either Chrono1102, or Laughingboy (either with or without '69')
3.) ASK BEFORE YOU MAKE THE BUMP! I am easier to reach than people like Ted Turner are, so if you want to use my material, I would highly recommend you ask permission first, so that I know a.) What you are doing b.) What you are doing it with. It's honestly the only thing more annoying than releasing your own version of the bump in the first place.
OK, so I don't want to sound like I'm making an ironic turn-around since the Turner incident a few weeks ago, and I'm not very mad because I'm (Sort of) credited anyway, but the fact that I'm not being asked before the bump is made and because the bump itself hasn't been finished yet is really getting on my nerves. Sorry if I'm sounding angry, or if I might be taking this too far, but I work too hard to make these pictures in Photoshop, just so someone can make their own version and get credited for putting together the bump themselves, especially before I am able to take off with my original creative vision.

I wholeheartedly agree with the feelings expressed above. Always obtain permission to include something you did not create yourself in your own work. Not a big deal - just common courtesy.

I just want to let you all know that the old Bumpworthy Upgrade bump is well underway towards becoming a real bump! There have been many projects getting in the way, some have been huge, and others have been canceled before they started. However, I'm getting back on track, so expect Bump 26 tomorrow at the latest.

A little investigation into some of the later bumps (before christmas) bumps made me realise that [as] uses pictures that are incredibly bright.
Or that's just the encoder's problem.
But I took the liberty to follow suit, as I try and make the most believeable bumps as possible (to confuse ASMB members and piss off Turner) But I'm left with a problem, and this is the problem...It looks like shit.

Sorry, LB :oops: You are quite correct about the brightness - I noticed the same thing when I went out and shot some photos I found reminiscent of the Indiana bumps - and if I have to pick one it would be the brighter of the two, but personally speaking this particular photo just doesn't do anything for me. :|

Seriously though, #29 was a bitch. First I couldn't find the exact song I was going for, and when I did, the quality was so poor, I ended up going with something else that I can only HOPE works. I don't really know what I was thinking exactly...Oh well.
I'll make a batch file later, hopefully with some Omake (Bonus) material just like in the last pack. Until then, It'd be awesome if these files weren't uploaded yet.
The 2nd Batch will probably go in another topic. Just so it feels new.
Also, I'll most likely upload 17-29 onto YouTube later, so that untill the batch is made, you can relive some earlier Laughingboy Bump Goodness. If you want to, that is.
