Stereo downloads

I noticed the audio in the Flash Player videos is in stereo, but the AVI and MP3 downloads it is mono.
Any chance the downloadable files can be in stereo?  Or will it take up too much space on the server?

Would all the files have to be re-encoded?  I'm guessing so and that would be a lot of work. 
This isn't a big deal, but since the music is a big part of the bumps, I thought stereo would be nice.

Hmmm.. I didn't realize that was going on.  You're right that all the bumps would need to be re-encoded.  It would take a lot of time to do it, but it could definitely be done, and automated even.  I'll see about doing that pretty soon.  I'm going to be upgrading the encoding process and server when we open the user made site, so it'd be the perfect time to get something like that going.
