"User Made Bumps" as a category

Yo, BW Suggestions.

I was just cruising through the User Made bumps thread and was really liking what I saw. There are tons of people who can really grasp the concept and feel of bump creations and I thought to myself "Why can't these guys be show cased?".
Now, I'm not sure what bandwidth is looking like for you guys, but there could be limitations as to things that are user made that are posted.

My take on it:

Bumps have a 30 second maximum time limit with encouragement to stay below 20 seconds.
Pictures must be high quality, royalty free or self taken.
Music cannot clip.
Music must not be offensive [derogatory, discriminatory etc. etc.]
A maximum of 5 videos a week per user.
Only the best, make the cut.

We have a good couple of people who I wouldn't making bumps for [as]. Let them have there stage time, says I.

We're working on a separate user made site, but development is very slow and is going to take a while. I'll expand on that later.

Why maintain two websites when you can just add a section here and pay for the upgrade (if one is required)?
Personally, I think it would give more merit to those who got their bumps posted seeing as it'd be right beside the real thing.

Exactly. Believe me, I love User Made stuff (in fact, I posted some of the first if not the first user-made image bumps in these boards back on February 2006, and we used to have them on the site before for a long while) but we're pretty much in enough hot water as it is with the real stuff on the site. I really hope we can get the user site done quickly, but it's more difficult since we've got a lot on our individual plates right now. But until we can get all the kinks worked out, I still encourage using the thread and posting more user bumps, huge fan of the effort. Be sure to check out the work of other users as well!  :-D

I was just thinking about the User Made site a few days ago.  It's definitely going slow (if at all), but I would really like to get it going ASAP.
